Dalton Land Design offers the experience and creative skills of a licensed Landscape Architect who is familiar with local landscape ordinances, conditions and practices. We most often provide landscape design plans for professional buildings, shopping centers, churches, and residences. We also offer complete installation of all elements of the exterior design including plant materials, sidewalks, irrigation systems, fencing, structural elements, and drainage control components. Specifically some of the services we provide include:

Site Development Plans including Drawings and Land Use Analysis

This process is often begun before the property has been purchased. Included is a thorough inquiry as to the land use restrictions by city ordinances and utility services. Often architects are involved in the placement of structures and adjacent hardscape features to maximize the use of the property. We plan for the most efficient use of the site with consideration of all elements of the project.

Landscape Design

Once the site has been configured to accommodate buildings and parking facilities and/or the building has been accomplished, preliminary design drawings are developed after consultation with the Owner to determine preferences and budget needs. These preliminary plans are created using architectural drawings or plats of the property and provide that all aspects of the plan are in compliance with landscape ordinances. Often there are as many as three possible designs presented to give the Owner choices. Once the basic design has been determined, plant selection is provided within the detailed drawings and plant lists.

Landscape Installation and Maintenance

Dalton Land Design can provide landscape installation including ground preparation with automatic sprinkler systems, soil adaptation, and installation of trees, shrubs, ground covers and seasonal color. In addition, if needed, we can aid you with proper maintenance guidelines or provide professional maintenance services.
